SSL is it from the axillary bud, Correct :) is the branch meristem equal, and independent from the apical shoot meristem? i know that the apical shoot meristem inhibits some other meristems - but probably ...

... help me with this : how does a branch form? is it from the axillary bud, or do only leaves come from the axillary bud? plus, is the branch meristem equal, and independent from the apical shoot meristem? i know that the apical shoot meristem inhibits some other meristems ...
