Anthracotic tuberculosis



Synonym for pneumoconiosis.


This condition is characterized by pain in the chest, cough with little or no expectoration, and lung fibrosis and scarring. It is contracted by the repeated inhalation of fine mineral particles.

Word origin: anthrac- meaning coal, carbon + -otic; tuberculosis.
