Angle edward


Father of modern orthodontics


Edward Angle is an American orthodontist who coined the term malocclusion, which he used to describe abnormalities in tooth position. He also came up with a classification of these various occlusion abnormalities, which was referred to as Angle's classification of malocclusion.
