Analytical

Of or pertaining to analysis; resolving into elements or constituent parts; as, an analytical experiment; analytic reasoning; opposed to synthetic. Analytical or coordinate geometry. See geometry. Analytic language, a noninflectional language or one not characterised by grammatical endings. Analytical table, a table in which the characteristics of the species or other groups are arranged so as to facilitate the determination of their names.

Question re: storing bacteria sample

... will help get treatment on the off chance I get sick. My question to you all is, what is the best way to store this sample without destroying its analytical value? Can I freeze it, then later have it looked at to determine what hideous stuff was living in it? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

... idea what's in the media mix -- if it is a defined medium, then in principle the fertilizer numbers could be calculated without doing additional analytical chem. Is there no mass percentage of N, P and K on the packaging? On re-reading the original post I now suspect he's like to avoid the preformulated ...
