(Science: zoology) Agriculturally, agricultural ant, a species of ant which gathers and stores seeds of grasses, for food. The remarkable species (Myrmica barbata) found in Texas clears circular areas and carefully cultivates its favorite grain, known as ant rice.

Why would he think that humans are exempt from evolution? An example of dietary evolution is persistance of lactase production in dairy-use populations.

Very few entomologists are working in collection and taxonomy. The majority of them do research, and most of that research is agricultural or medical.
