Adosterol

(Science: chemical) 6 beta-iodomethyl-19-norcholest-5(10)-en-3 beta-ol. A sterol usually substituted with radioactive iodine. It is an adrenal cortex scanning agent with demonstrated high adrenal concentration and superior adrenal imaging.
