(Science: anatomy, muscle) origin, ischial tuberosity and ischiopubic ramus; insertion, linea aspera and adductor tubercle of femur; action, adducts and extends thigh; nerve supply, obturator and sciatic.

Synonym: musculus adductor magnus, great adductor muscle.
