2. Existing in act or reality; really acted or acting; in fact; real; opposed to potential, possible, virtual, speculative, coceivable, theoretical, or nominal; as, the actual cost of goods; the actual case under discussion.

3. In action at the time being; now exiting; present; as the actual situation of the country. Actual cautery. See cautery. Actual sin, that kind of sin which is done by ourselves in contradistinction to original sin.

Synonym: real, genuine, positive, certain. See real.

Fractals in Biology

... recently become very interested in the study of Fractals in biology and other science divisions, but I am having a bit of a difficult time finding actual journal articles on the study. Does anyone have any suggestions? Mandelbrot's book just doesn't cut it.

Log paper

If is log paper what I think it is, you should have the actual numbers in there. Or you can calculate the log MW and put it on normal paper.

Difference between Virulence and Pathogenicity?

... discriminate between them. So far what I've got is: Pathogenicity = The potential/ability of a infectious agent to cause damage. Virulence = The actual level of damage caused. Is this correct or am I mistaken?
