Medical term for skin tag, particularly one that presents as pedunculated, flesh-colored or slightly pigmented, soft, and asymptomatic papule on the surface of the neck, eyelids, upper chest, upper inner thighs, and axillae, though may also occur in the oral cavity, anal region, and vulvovaginal mucosa


Acrochordons do not necessarily need treatments unless irritated or injured. However, they can be removed for aesthetic reasons.
