Accompanying vein of hypoglossal nerve

Accompanying vein of hypoglossal nerve --> vena comitans nervi hypoglossi

runs with the hypoglossal nerve below and lateral to the hyoglossus muscle, emptying usually into the lingual vein.

Synonym: accompanying vein of hypoglossal nerve.
