chromosome 12

My question is: My son has been tested for genetics abnormalities and they found a deletion on - p arm (short arm) and an extra on +q arm (long) on the same arm of the same chromosome , the 12th..They said it's never been reported before, they said ...

... definitely. Well some parts of growing up. :) In the case when same relatives of the close degree marry each other, the chances of developing some abnormalities in their child is also increased.
