A small motor nerve supplying the lateral rectus Muscle of the eye.The cranial Nerve in vertebrate species that controls the rectus Muscle of the eye. This nerve is mainly motor in function, meaning that the information transmitted through this nerve is a response deriving from interneurones based in the cNS (Central nervous System).
