An aspiration technique used to remove the contents of the uterus through the cervix, usually done for a pregnancy termination, in induced abortion, or following a miscarriage. This may also be done to obtain a sample for endometrial biopsy.

Therapeutically, this is done as part of an abortion method especially in cases of molar pregnancies.
