sphenoidal conchae

paired ossicles of pyramidal shape, the spines of which are in contact with the medial pterygoid lamina, the bases forming the roof of the nasal cavity.

Synonym: conchae sphenoidales, bertin's bones, bertin's ossicles, sphenoidal turbinated bones.
