Peptide

(Science: biochemistry) A compound of two or more amino acids where the alpha carboxyl group of one is bound to the alpha amino group of another. Amide combining the amino group of one amino acid with the carboxyl group of another; usually obtained by partial hydrolysis of protein.Any compound consisting of two or more amino acids.
