(Science: study) The branch of medicine concerned with disease, especially its structure and its functional effects on the body. Any deviation from a healthy or normal condition.The branch of medical science that studies the causes and nature and effects of diseases.The study of how [[disease Changes an organisms functionality as a unit (like measles causing brain damage) and structural changes caused by diseases (like the creation of [[galls and [[tannins in plants).
