A type of malocclusion where the anteroposterior relationship between the first molar teeth of upper and lower jaws is normal thus results in a normal bite but with irregularities in other tooth (or teeth) such as crowding, crossbites, etc.

This is the most common form of malocclusion. Other types of malocclusion are retrognathism and prognathism.
