(1) NADPH: acronym for Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Phosphate.

(2) The reduced form of NADP+; or the result of NADP+ molecule gaining an electron from Hydrogen, i.e. : NADP + H1

(3) The reducing agent in several anabolic reactions such as lipid and nucleic acid syntheses.

(4) An electron carrier capable of donating electrons to certain biosynthetic reactions (as mentioned above).
