medial wall of middle ear --> medial wall of tympanic cavity

A bony layer separating the middle from the internal ear or labyrinth; it contains the fenestra vestibuli and the fenestra cochleae.

Synonym: paries labyrinthicus cavi tympani, labyrinthine wall of middle ear, medial wall of middle ear.
