Lamina terminalis of cerebrum

a thin plate passing upward from the optic chiasm and forming the rostral boundary of the third ventricle; membrane closing the rostral neuropore.

Synonym: lamina terminalis cerebri, lamina cinerea, terminal plate, velum terminale.
