Lamina basalis choroideae

The transparent, nearly structureless inner layer of the choroid in contact with the pigmented layer of the retina.

Synonym: basal lamina of choroid, basal layer of choroid, Bruch's membrane, Henle's membrane, lamina vitrea, vitreous lamella, vitreous membrane.
