Cyproterone acetate

(Science: chemical) An agent with anti-androgen and progestational properties. It is used in the treatment of male sex offenders, precocious puberty, prostatic and ovarian cancer, and severe hirsutism.

Pharmacological action: androgen antagonists, antineoplastic agent, contraceptive agents, male, progestational hormones, synthetic.
