Catatropic image --> Purkinje-Sanson images

(Science: ophthalmology, physiology) The two images formed by the anterior and posterior surfaces of the cornea and the two images formed by the anterior and posterior surfaces of the lens.

Synonym: catatropic image, Purkinje images, Sanson's images.
