Anterior costotransverse ligament --> superior costotransverse ligament

(Science: anatomy) The fibrous band that extends upward from the neck of a rib to the transverse process of the next higher vertebra.

Synonym: ligamentum costotransversarium superius, anterior costotransverse ligament, ligamentum costotransversarium anterius.
