Allylglycine

(Science: chemical) An inhibitor of glutamate decarboxylase and an antagonist of gaba. It is used to induce convulsions in experimental animals.

Pharmacological action: convulsants, gaba antagonists.

chemical name: 4-Pentenoic acid, 2-amino-
