Biodiversity hotspots
This is an overview of the world's most diverse areas. It includes any area with over 0.5% of either the world's vertebrate species or plant species.
Some of these locations are under serious threat due to habitat degradation and introduced species, so if you want to see these places in their current "glory", it may be necessary to visit them sooner rather than later..
