I Feel creating a excel database of Contagious Diseases
would be useful.

Which contagious Diseases are fatal for Human beings species survival if not treated?.

There is no specific common adaptation that confers contagiousness; each (family of) pathogens is different. Also, in general contagiousness is not conferred by a single component but is rather the overall nature of the organism.
Most importantly, the correct plural of "virus" is not "viri". Computer techs seem to have seized on this incorrect formation, but biologists still use the correct "viruses".
