subject for presentation

Post by zbiology » Sun Mar 12, 2017 3:52 pm

hi all,

I need to present a short (30min) presentation on a scientific subject. I'm very interested in evolutionary biology so I would like to find something in this field.
I thought about some things: altruism, convergent evolution, creation of new genes, astrobiology.. but I'm not sure, I feel like it would sound like a lecture. Do you have any recommendation? About a recent discovery maybe?
I'm a junior, so something not too technique would be appreciated ^^

Thank you so much!!

Convergent evolution would give you an opportunity to present many examples that your audience is familiar with, and connect them to how evolution is not completely random but constrained by the restrictions of a niche or lifestyle.
