You thought of more than I did, the only reason I could think of was too short a primer and you would end up amplifying too many sequences in the genome. This is because the primer sequence would be non specific to the site that you want to amplify.

Don't quote me on it though.

Rest is a period of bodily inactivity, so while playing the guitar is "chilling out" or something along those lines I wouldn't really define it as rest.

Does anyone know of a media that inhibits the growth of organisms other than Gram +ve cocci? (or if not most of them) I know of Baird Parker media but have read that this has more specificity for Staphylococcus Aureus than others.
