Personally, I would wonder if you would get dehydrated from the blood. It seems to me that blood has a somewhat salty property, although I may be mistaken. :roll:

In my experience, and others may vary and be more correct, making a new streak from plate to plate sometimes goes better if you grab a colony from plate 1and culture it in a test tube with fresh media, then use that to streak plate 2. Agar plates and E. coli... Simple question...

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to construct a biology experiment, and I was wondering if it is correct and proper to take a sample of baterial growth from one agar plate and place the sample on a new fresh agar plate?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! :)
