cancer and marijuana

I have to do a research article for my AP biology class. I'm interested in writing about the myths and truths about marijuana and its use in fighting cancer. Do you know of any articles that talk about marijuana being used to fight cancer? In certain articles I've read that marijuana can actually cause cancer, while others say it helps fight cancer. What is the truth? Are there any articles that debate on this topic? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It just helps deal with the pain

And yes, it can cause lung cancer
