bufferi've encountered a qns that i dunno how to do
hope u guys can help me out thx. the qns: a student was told to dilute Tris-HCL buffer from 1M to 10mM before using it for a biological assay. Instead of doing that, he used the 1M solution directly in his assay, citing that a higher concentration of the buffer would providebetter buffering capacity.State if you agree with him and why.
The question is asking two things I think--
1. Is the student's explanation correct? i.e. does 1M buffer provide better buffering? 2. If true, is this a good idea? Living one day at a time;
