PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolutionhi, everyone
I was wondering if someone could help me. I am trying to come up with strong arguments about my beliefs about creation and history of earth and life. One of the arguments is: how do i know that God created the earth in six days? I thought about forming arguments such as geologic column, flood. It is a paper that I am doing where I have to argue my position but support it with scientific evidence and biblical evidence. Could someone help me to find evidence for these arguments or give ideas how to form these arguments so that it appears as a strong argument? I hope you have understood. Please help Amanda
Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolutionAre you siding with evolutionism or creationism?
If you are looking for support for creation, I don't think you are on the right forum. This one is about science not myths.

that is pretty much all the answers you'll need if u have any more ?'s let me know My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind~Einstein
You'll find support from answersingenesis, but I doubt it's scientific. There aren't any papers published in any peer reviewed journals that support a young earth just do a scholar.google.com search.

That is because if you start by refusing science as part of your starting hypothesis, you are not likely to be published in anything scientific... Patrick

Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolutionevoultion takes just as much faith to believe in if not more than intelligent design

You're missing the point of this thread. Amanda wanted scientific supports for creationism. There is none.

Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolutionhave you looked?
do you care if there is proof? My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind~Einstein
Re: PLEASE HELP! arguments in evolutionThe original poster asked for arguments. There are mathematical proofs, but proofs in science are rare indeed. My beliefs are based on probabilities. I KNOW nothing that is beyond any doubt. I'm a scientist. But trying to figure things out, rather than just having faith in something beyond the rational, has been a lifelong joy.
