The female is fertilized internally and lays around 60 sticky eggs in a whole that she digs. In some species, the female cares for the eggs and hatchlings.

last questions
1) does it go through simple development, complete metamorphosis, or incomplete metamorphosis?

2)What spcial adaptations does it have that make it fit to survive the enviorment?

Thank you all

Centipedes have incomplete metamorphosis: young centipedes hatch from eggs and look like small adults. Centipedes shed their skin (a process called "molting") as they grow into adults, usually adding legs each time they molt.

Here is an intersting fact.
Centipedes need a lot of time to tie their shoes.

I believe they are hemimetabolous.
