He hates being wrong and I had proof to back up my argument. I try to give tell him about this and he tries to change the subject by interrupting.
Voices rise, I try to end it by walking away and he followed me, still shouting.

Especially if I'm right.
It would be nice if for once even a persons elders would recognize without a whole lot of arguing when they're wrong.
