questionsIt is my understanding that both the cro-manon and the neanderthal was equally strong and smart as humans. furthermore they are both our ancestor. How can evolution go backwards?
On internet i can find that the neanderthal people were not many, only around 10 000 subjects how can science say this? On one site i find that cro manon is just a nickname and they only lived for 40000 to 10000 years ago, is that correct? I also find it strange that human life only needed 1 million years to develop. How could apes become humanoids in so short time? And why is there scepsis that dinosaurs failed to develop humanoid life? Other questions are lurking inside my head but for now i would just apreciate answers to theese questions.
Re: questionsI believe apes are considered a lineage rather than an ancestor. Also concerning Neanderthal, check out this link.

Very informative, and I can agree on the neanderthal being a different linage, but it still raises questions.even more so if they were a different race. I have read that some of the neanderthals used skull deformation as some humans did.. Maya, inka, early china and so on.
40000-50000 years ago, is that right?
