Meiosis HelpI am really having a problem diagraming 4N cells. i understand 2N and all but 4n just seems hard for me to "run with" My test is on Wed. so if any of you could help me i would really be grateful!!!!!
If your organism is not diploid(2n), it is tetraploid(4n) then it's gamets and spores will be 2n. Is this what you mean?
"As a biologist, I firmly believe that when you're dead, you're dead. Except for what you live behind in history. That's the only afterlife" - J. Craig Venter
what you do is you set 4n equal to the X chromosome. X=4N, and then you solve for N. This means that having 4n will lead you to have 1/4 of the chromosomes you originally had.
