Is there any exception?"Different types of cells contain the same genes"
Are there any exceptions for this statement? (such as, different types of cells CAN contain different genes) Thank you for your help

Mature T cells and B cells have undergone genomic rearrangement. This allows them to produce unique TCRs/antibodies from a gene that is created through recombination/mutation.
you might also want to look into the plant kingdom for a very well known example.
