Can you turn quick reply on so we don't have to click the "Post Reply" button.

I know it sounds/is lazy as hell, but its much more comfortable.

What's the difference?

I've seen other forums with quick reply. Its makes it about 0.5 seconds quicker to make a reply
Its just the reply box directly below every topic. Its usually scaled down (without the emoticons). One of the mods must know.

I know what you are talking about. You have a reply section at the bottom of the page, so you do not need to click 'post reply'. That may be a good idea.

As I said, much easier. Also helps with closed/locked threads (the Quick Reply box disappears).

I don't know, I'm used to vBulletin and this is phpbb (I'm guessing)

Although quick reply is handy i don't think we will implement it on the forum.
Reasons:
1. It would increase the loading time (by a tiny bit but still)
2. There is no preset "quick reply" function in phpbb - so it will be as an add on.
3. We have a special attachment mode set, quick reply would need to be manually integrated.
4. This is my personal opinion - stretches the forum posts too much.
