You don't have to be a ref. I can protect myself plenty well enough.
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

I was on about starting the fight, something like: "Jones are you ready? Alex are you ready? Fight!"

Looks like I will need to be ref, if the fight is done over the internet. If it is done face to face you'll need to get someone else.
