hair colorI have two different hair colors, and I was wondering if that is nomal.
from person....
My hair changes color because of the sun mostly. In the winter my hair is dark and in the summer it's red and blonde and light brown.
BUT I have a TON of gray hair. I'm only 16 years old so I was kind of freaked out when I first found it, I talked to my dad and he told me that one of his sisters had entirely white hair by the time she was 17, so my 'silver' hair is caused by genetics I share a lack of some kind of protein in my body with my aunt. I know this may sound cliche but a change in hair color can be caused by severe stress or shock as well. J o n e s i e

Well some characteristics have more than one dominant allele, this is known as codominance.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codominance#Codominance I'm sure one of the mods will have a better explanation than this. Without science there is nothing.
