Ants + Alcohol don't mixHere's an interesting but failed experiment. I had some moldy bread so instead of throwing it away I put it into a container to grow. Later on I saw some ants and I thought it would be so cool if I could get them to harvest the fungus...unfortunately they weren't the type that did.
It turns out that the yeast/fungus on the bread had been alcoholic fermenting for sometime and the concentrations of alcohol was quite high in the jar. The ants that I put in the jar all acted drunkly and sluggishly. 3 hours later, they died. Wimps. Living one day at a time;
