hypertonic urine and kidney stones???i am sorry about posting so many questions, but i have looked almost everywhere you guys are my last hope.
can anyone answer these, explain them, or tell me where to look to find the answers. 1-How can kidney stones be prevented? 2- what role do aldoserone and atrial natriuretic hormone affect the production of hypertonic urine?
Stones development depends on the nutritional diet. Opposite of the acid-ash diet balances the metabolism and vice-versa.
Let say if you eat acidic foods, stones would develop, so balance your diet with alkali-ash foods. ---When reason ends, faith begins---
Diet does have a lot to do with stone formation including water intake. Chronic dehydration could be one way to get stones.
As for aldosterone, when aldosterone is present in the DCT and collecting ducts sodium is reabsorbed. Water naturally fallows (water reabsorption effects are greater when antidiuretic hormone is present) causing the urine to become more concentrated (hypertonic). As far as ANH goes I can't answer that off the top of my head right now.
