mmmmmhhh.. meristematic tissue.
It's where the plant grows in size and it's carried out by the meristematic cells who are in constant division.
i know just two kind of meristems: The root apical one, the shoot apical one, the axials and florals.
Both grow in a different way.

the cells are undifferenciated.

Traqueidas (spanish)
just the gymnosperms has these kind of cells.
Tracheas are the cells that carries water and salt through the whole plant.

the english term is tracheids
