Elements!

Postby Jones on Wed Nov 14, 2007 10:13 pm

There's nothing on the regular discussion board for elements, and I need help. So, yeah, it'd be cool if we had one of those.

Elements, like in chemistry? this is a biology board, my friend. But you are welcome to ask your questions in the off topic section.

I tried that, maybe you should think of expanding the site?

Maybe you should look at the bottom of the page there is a link to our partners in chemistry if you do not find what you want here.

I am just a man of few words. Didin't mean to be rude, nor was I offended, just pointing out another solution, as this forum might not be the best place. That is all.

Now that I think about it, would you not agree that much of what biology is deals with chemistry?

Life science + Chemistry ----> Biology

And also, no disrepect intended, just a thought.

biology + chemistry = biochemistry

biochemistry is discussed in the following forums:
Cell Biology
Molecular Biology
Microbiology
Bioinformatics
Genetics

elements are more on the Physics side of chemistry though.

Well I was not suggesting that a forum for elements be created, as like you said many other forums exist where such topics could be discussed. My only point was that chemistry and biology go hand in hand.

Well when it comes down to it, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and philosophy all go hand in hand, in one form or another. Lets just agree to agree :D
