***Hormones and intelligence***

Postby ragav.payne on Sun Nov 04, 2007 2:06 pm

Hello,

I'd like to know if there is any conclusion on the relationship between intelligence and hormones.

Can hormones affect how deep a person can think?

I understand that the endocrine system is very delicate and intricate. So, can any change in its nature change the way a person thinks?

I'd also like to recieve links to interesting studies on this subject.

Regards.

You should specify more quantifiable means of measuring them.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

Hormones certainly can affect how well a person can concentrate, and probably how long they can constantly address a particular problem before taking a mental "break." That should affect a lot of tests that supposedly measure intelligence.
