What is a Rat's brain composed of?

Postby handbanana on Thu Oct 18, 2007 5:00 pm

Is it similar to the humans' brain?

what are some adaptations in the rat's nervous system that allows it to survive better?

Thanks!

not very similar with a human brain. the only thing I know about a rat's brain is that it disproved the belief that the number of circumvolutions is directly proportional to the intelligence of the animal. the rat has few circumvolutions, but is rather intelligent

The proportions of the different parts of the brain are rather different, I think.
