Effect of temperature on photosynthesis.

Postby tf on Tue Oct 02, 2007 6:18 pm

I am currently doing an investigtion for my biology A-level using immobilized Alga Chlorella. What effect will temperature have on photosynthesis? Will my results be linear because the increased diffusion rates of carbon dioxide are the dominant factors changing the rate; or will my results produce a curve because of the effect of temp on Rubisco?
Thank you for any replies.

How are you measuring the rate of photosynthesis? Oxygen electrode?

Well, wouldn't both factors be an issue? The question is what temperature ranges do you have to worry about.
