Biochemistry, urgentHey, guys. I'm having a lot of trouble with these 2 questions for homework (I've done around 27 and I'm completely shut down).
What special role is played by the amino acid cysteine? How do disulphide bridges influence protein structure and stability?

Thanks very helpful. Hey, I forgot to post the second question (the first question was a single question).
Do all proteins have quarternary structure? Support your answer with examples.
No. actually most proteins don't. example: any protein made out of one polipeptide chain: lyzozime, titin etc
