Remove the "Must have 5 posts before posting links"Some of us really do have good links- what would you have registered members do, jump through hoops to make it all work? Hyperlinks are an important part of the WWW and forums, so I see it as rather extreme when we have to exclude links from discussions just to avoid spambots.
Otherwise, without links, members (such as me) will contribute +5 posts without useful links. Sounds basically the equivalent to spam to me, except this time with no links to follow. Rather detrimental, isn't it? Please? - Bryan

Nope, but you can tell OP to remove the offending character

hmmmmmm, you a bot? its for the good of the forum surely you can see that! The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.

I agree with keeping the 5+ post requirement; getting that many posts isn't hard at all. You can probably post 10 or more posts per day in the "Last Person to Reply Wins!" thread, and nobody would complain about how useless those posts are. An introductory post in the "Introductions for Members" thread counts as one already, and if you absolutely must post a link, you can always just type the url and don't worry about making it an actual hyperlink. That's why God invented copy and paste.
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

No, it was definitely God, not that imposter who claims to be god.

I agree with your suggestion. This is my 5th post anyway so I can post links.
